Pregnancy is a responsible but wonderful time. Therefore, many people come to Antalya in order to recover, relax and just have a good time before giving birth. And Antalya has everything to offer for that. Despite the fact that it is a tourist region, it is quiet, peaceful and pleasant.
If you find yourself in Antalya during your pregnancy, it would be a shame not to have a photo shoot here.
When is the best time to have a maternity photo shoot?
In terms of season in Antalya there are no problems. It’s warm here, that’s why we can do a maternity shoot 365 days a year. Even if the weather is not favourable, there are plenty of interiors in Antalya.
In terms of gestational age, the best time to do photo shoots at 6-7 months. At this time, the tummy is already clearly visible, but it is not too big yet.
Although, in my practice there were photo shoots, after which the customer immediately went to the maternity hospital. There were also photo shoots in the first month of pregnancy, when the belly is not visible at all. But that’s a bit of a different story 🙂

Where to have a maternity photo shoot?
Antalya offers a huge number of unique locations. If you are a tourist in Antalya, or if you live here recently, it will be a kind of a mixture of a photo shoot and a sightseeing tour.
In winter, we usually go for indoor photo shoots. And even here Antalya offers a sufficient variety of locations to choose from: photo studio, flat, hotel, etc.
However, if it’s warm and dry outside, I always recommend an outdoor photo shoot to my clients. Antalya is very rich with amazingly beautiful locations.
- waterfalls (there are many here, although I think the most beautiful is Kurshunlu),
- canyons (mainly Göyņük and Tazı),
- ruins of ancient cities(Perge, Aspendos, Termessos, etc.),
- The old cities (Antalya, Side, Kaş, etc.),
- the sea (beach and/or rocks),
- fields of flowers (roses, irises, lavender, mimosa, carnations),
- orchards (orange, pomegranate)
- and many other locations.
There are also unusual locations. For example, Land of Legends, Decemealta carpets, etc.
Where is the best place to hold a photo shoot right now, call and clarify. I know which flowers/gardens are blooming or fruiting right now, which waterfalls are beautiful, which canyon are best to go to, and which photo studio/interior to book.
